The first-ever Siteki Flea Market held in collaboration with COSPE was a remarkable success. The event brought together stakeholders such as the Siteki Town Council, World Vegetable Centre (TAVI), the Ministry of Agriculture, and Creative Arts and Designing. PELUM’s visibility initiative was highly successful, providing a platform for the organization to promote its brand and raise awareness about agroecological practices.
Additionally, the event emphasized the negative impact of GMOs on the environment and human health. The market cultivated an environment of networking and collaboration among like-minded individuals with a shared interest in sustainable agricultural practices. PELUM looks forward to hosting more events like the Siteki Flea Market in the future to further its mission of promoting sustainable agriculture practices.
