Advocacy and Lobbying at the International Eswatini Trade Fair

PELUM Eswatini’s dedication to mitigating climate change was truly remarkable and was prominently showcased at the Eswatini International Trade Fair. The organization’s unwavering commitment to promoting ecologically sustainable practices was met with an overwhelming response from the public, resulting in PELUM being awarded the prestigious first prize for Best NGO and having coverage on the local TV Station Eswatini TV.

PELUM’s efforts to raise awareness about the numerous benefits of urban and peri-urban farming, as well as agroecology, were truly inspiring. The organization’s thought-provoking display of indigenous seeds, organic fertilizers, recycled products, and informative literature attracted the attention of an impressive 786 individuals, further highlighting the gaps in their field.
